This website is dedicated to analyzing dishonor in the speech, both written and spoken, of politicians. It was conceived of, initiated and developed by me, Sean Sweeney. It is meant to be helpful, not punishing.
Motivation
My motivation for starting this site was ultimately that I would like to see less dishonorable speech everywhere in the world, not just in politics. My hope is that by identifying and calling out the categories of dishonorable speech used by our leaders in politics, and highlighting the damages of such speech, it may help educate people so they can start to become more aware of how they use dishonorable speech themselves, and of how it hurts them and others. I also hope that when political leaders are called out very precisely for their dishonorable speech, and pressure is put on them by their own constituents, that they may begin to speak more honorably, and the public may follow.

While I make my assessments of dishonorable speech in good faith, to the best of my ability, I do not make any claims as to the absolute correctness of these assessments. The exact same words can be dishonorable in one situation and not in another, and so there could be circumstances of which I am unaware that could alter the meanings I have taken from certain statements. Nonetheless, I feel it is a worthwhile endeavor to strive to identify dishonorable speech as accurately as possible, even if 100% accuracy will never be achieved.
